DIRECTOR
Denny Miller, D.Min.
Denny Miller and his wife Sandy have served as Assemblies of God (USA) missionaries to
Africa since 1992. They presently live in Lilongwe, Malawi. During his time in Africa Dr. Miller
has taught and served as academic dean for the College Division of the Assemblies of God School
of Theology in Lilongwe, Malawi. He is also the founding director of the Assemblies of God
Extension School in Malawi. He travels extensively throughout Africa teaching and preaching
in Eleventh Hour Institutes and Acts in Africa Conferences.
Prior to becoming a missionary, Dr. Miller pastored for 22 years in Colorado and Texas. He has
written five books: Teaching in the Spirit (1995), Power Ministry: How to Minister in
Spiritual Power (1998), Life in the Spirit (2000), The Kingdom of God, and
Empowered for Global Mission (2005). The second book, Power Ministry, has been
translated into seven languages and is used in Bible schools throughout Africa. He has also
written for the Pentecostal Evangel and Advance magazines.
Dr. Miller studied at the University of Houston (1965-1966), received his B.S. in Christian Ministry
from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (1969), did post-graduate studies with the
Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and Global University, received his M.A. in Public
Speaking from Stephen F. Austin State University (1984), and his doctorate from the Assemblies
of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO. He and Sandy have three children and six
grandchildren.
