SERVICES
Note: The Acts in Africa Initiative is an emerging
ministry. As it matures and as resources and personnel become available, it will seek
to provide the following services to African Assemblies of God churches.
Acts in Africa seeks to provide the following services and products:
Acts in Africa Conferences: An Acts in Africa Conference is a conference in
which a national church brings together all of its pastors (and possibly key lay leaders)
for a time of teaching on the empowering role of the Holy Spirit in the evangelistic and
missionary work of the church. A strong emphasis is placed on all participants receiving
the biblical experience of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Leaders are also taught on
how to minister in the power of the Spirit.
Literature: Acts in Africa will seek to write, locate, produce, and provide literature
on Pentecostal themes at affordable costs. Special emphasis is placed on literature that will
strengthen the church for its global mission to reach all nations with the gospel.
Media: Acts in Africa will seek to provide media resources on Pentecostal and missions
themes via the Internet, audio and video cassettes, and DVDs.
Human Resources: One Goal of the Acts in Africa Initiative is to raise up a corps of
African revivalists who will call the church back to Pentecostal renewal with a strong focus
on evangelism and missions.
Strategic Partnering: AIA seeks to strategically partner with other ministries that
are seeking renewal in the church for the purpose of missionary outreach. Current partners
include the Africa Assemblies of God Alliance, Africa's Hope, and Africa Harvest Ministries.
